We have two young dogs and have been working with Petra during the last year on basic (puppy) training in 1-2-1 sessions. Our main criteria for choosing a trainer was the use of positive reinforcement and operant conditioning techniques and the ability to have the classes in English.
I can absolutely recommend Petra - she is very professional with lots of experience, training is knowledgable and fun and she has always an open ear for her clients! She finds tailored solutions for each dog always considering the unique personality, background and living circumstances as well as breed characteristics. We learned so much in the past year, not only in terms of practical training but also a lot of theory and background!

I AM A CERTIFIED DOG TRAINER
with Further Vocational Qualification in Animal Training from Helsinki.
Training dogs has been my full-time occupation since 2012 and currently I am completing the Specialist Qualification in Animal Training. I have experience in all breed types recognized by the FCI and I have also worked with numerous mixed-breed and rescue dogs. I specialize in training city living and active, energetic dogs. My own dogs are also of various different breeds.
MY GOAL IN TRAINING
is always to prioritize the well-being of the animal and to give the owner confidence on how to act more interactively with their pet. I train based on operant conditioning and positive reinforcing. I don't accept any unethical methods in an attempt to modify animal behavior.
